About This Site
Apple Examiner began as “Mac OS X Forensics” in October of 2007. The goal of this site is to bring together information, tools, techniques, and resources that help you as an Apple and Macintosh analyst. Every page on this site comes from Mac fanatics, your feedback and questions. We are passionate about all things Apple!
The site knowledge is brought together from law enforcement experience, community input, certifications, and training. As you will see from the pages, we have contributors from various backgrounds and from all parts of the world.
We encourage article submissions from all of our readers. Articles on this site will always reflect areas of interest for OS X and iOS, usage of Apple systems, and corporate tool functionality. All articles must reflect Apple digital forensics. We highly encourage anyone to request to submit an article. Submitted articles will be reviewed for applicability and posted as soon as possible. Please contact us for any clarification.
“Our Site Sponsors” are companies who supplied a copy of their tool to further Apple digital forensic research by one or more of our writers.
The AppleExaminer.com Store is powered by Amazon and we thank everyone that chooses to utilize our links.
Thank you for making this site such a success!
Reader, Vendor and Company Reminder - this website is kept up-to-date by all of us as a community. Please freely send links to great articles, news about Apple digital forensic updates, new versions of programs we all like to use, or simply something we have failed to list in one of the sections. This is our site. Thank you to everyone for your help and contributions! REMINDER: This includes all companies. Please email me with news of your latest versions so I can spread the word!
